Research Technician (Information Technology)
The Vu lab studies the molecular basis of antifungal drug resistance mechanism in Candida species. We are looking for a research technician who will conduct lab-bench and animal research work. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with animal research and have prior experience with aseptic techniques.
Provides assistance to a research staff by conducting simple research experiments, collecting data and samples, keeping records, conducting literature searches, analyzing data, and preparing reports.
Duties:
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in a Biological Science, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, Sociology, or other health related field.
Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months equivalent experience in lieu of the Bachelor's Degree.
