Upon successful completion of the internship, there may be an opportunity for part-time conversion. Job Description: Altria is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Analyst Intern to join our team at the Center for Research and Technology. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the future of our industry by enhancing our security processes. Throughout the internship, you will receive on-the-job training, access to a diverse group of mentors, and professional development opportunities. The intern will be challenged and empowered to participate in the following activities:
Utilize Excel to efficiently pair access points with security cameras for enhanced monitoring.
Assist in the mapping and integration of access control and video systems.
Leverage Power BI to organize and create visual representations of data collected by the security team.
Collaborate with the security team to ensure precise data collection and reporting.
Ensure that all security documentation is managed in accordance with company standards and protocols.
Assist with documenting all security devices to help the security department ensure that important security devices are always functioning.
A Security Intern will:
Use Excel to match access points with cameras.
Help with mapping and integrating access control and video systems.
Use Power BI, a data visualization tool, to sort and display data the security team collects.
Work with the security team to make sure data is collected and reported accurately.
Make sure all security documents are properly managed.
Work with the security team to find old security devices before they break down.
