Cook Part-time (Food Services)
• Prepare and cook meals in accordance with established menus, recipes, and portion control standards.
• Ensure food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed, including proper sanitation and cleanliness.
• Maintain food storage and inventory, adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Work with the dietary team to accommodate residents' special dietary needs and preferences.
• Maintain a safe and organized kitchen environment.
• Collaborate with other staff to deliver exceptional customer service and address residents' needs.
• Participate in menu planning and making suggestions for improvements when needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a full-service kitchen or healthcare food service environment is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, food handling, and nutrition.
• ServSafe certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with residents and team members effectively.
• Ability to work some weekends and holidays as required.
