Nemours is seeking an Associate Information Security Analyst (Full-Time), to join our Nemours Children's Health team in either Jacksonville, Florida, Orlando, Florida or Wilmington, Delaware.
This is an early career security position that will protect Nemours against Cyber Security threats. The ideal applicant will have a passion for the application of security technology, in depth analysis, and getting the job done. The position requires the individual to possess skills related to the monitoring, reporting, and auditing of security events and applications. Additionally, this individual will audit IT systems, report findings to leadership and work with IS to ensure compliance.
Additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned from time to time by employee's supervisor.
Provide first-level support for operational tickets including but not limited to communicating with internal customers, troubleshooting, researching solutions, escalating, for several security tools including anti-spam, anti-virus, web proxies, phishing attempts, data loss prevention
Provide Professional and courteous interactions with internal customers for first level support issues.
Triage security alerts and escalate as required. Reliably follow complex procedures and be able to discern what data is important when presented with large amounts of data.
Monitor the health and security of various security applications; respond and follow-through as needed.
Perform daily operational tasks and checklists related to Information Security
Perform security analysis of daily security reports and data, utilizing standard tools and methodologies. Escalate security events to appropriate team members as necessary.
Support ongoing projects by assisting in testing and documentation as required. This may include technical documentation.
Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned to support projects and ongoing operations.
Attend and complete training as required.
Job Requirements
High School Diploma required.
Minimum of six (6) months related experience required.
