About the Role
Essity Professional Hygiene is currently seeking a Maintenance Planner for our tissue manufacturing operation in Cherokee, AL.

What You Will Do
- Provides safety and housekeeping leadership;
- Plans and schedules mechanical, electrical, and Instrument maintenance work - manages the work order process;
- Collaborates with the operation's team to develop weekly, daily and outage schedules;
- Actively participates in daily, weekly, and shutdown process and scheduling;
- Collaborates with manufacturing leads, engineers, department heads, maintenance leads - actively supports preventive maintenance and essential care/condition monitoring (PM/ECCM) concepts, policies and procedures;
- Prepares work packages for all maintenance jobs;
- Works with sourcing to solicit and analyze bids and issuing purchase orders for contracted work.
Who You Are
- Engineering degree preferred;
- Five or more years of maintenance experience;
- Experience with CMMS systems and scheduling software;
- Experience with process equipment and systems (Paper mill preferred);
- Communicate effectively through written, oral, and digital formats;
- Collaborate with all levels of an organization.
