Overview
The Personal Banking Officer is responsible for providing personalized support in all phases of customer service, client relationship building, and account maintenance for a Branch.
Responsibilities
Manages their own portfolio, offers bank products to meet the customer's financial needs and meets annual production goals which may include, but not limited to, DDA growth, deposit growth, new loan production, loan portfolio growth, credit card referrals, and other cross-sell products referrals. Provides support to the branch in establishing Personal and Business accounts performing a wide range of services; management of customer transactions, loans, credit analysis, overdrafts, return item processing, customer service inquiries and other general administrative support. If licensed as an MLO, provides support to the Branch with accepting/processing HELOC loan applications. Assists with gathering of loan documents, accept loan payments for both commercial and consumer loans. Profiles all customers to ensure KYCs are updated and completed in a timely manner to comply with established BSA/AML requirements. Builds relationships with internal business partners (Residential Mortgage, Cash Management, Merchant Card) to obtain and provide qualified referrals. Performs all customer service platform activities and assists the Branch Operation Officer with operational matters as needed. The AVP; Personal Banking Officer must also comply with all established CIP and BSA/AML requirements.
