Laundry - Ojai Health and Rehab (Healthcare)

Ojai Health and Rehabilitation is looking for full time Laundry attendant who is available to work M-F 10AM - 6:30PM.

Job Summary:

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring residents have access to clean and well-maintained linens and clothing. This role involves handling laundry services efficiently while following all sanitary guidelines and maintaining an organized inventory of supplies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure a sufficient supply of clean linen is available for residents' care and comfort.
• Maintain linens in good condition, removing any items with holes or stains from service.
• Collect residents' laundry daily or as needed.
• Label new residents' clothing items as required.
• Sort, treat, wash, dry, and fold clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry to residents' rooms in a timely manner.
• Follow all sanitary processes and procedures related to laundry operations.
• Maintain an inventory of laundry supplies and notify management of replenishment needs.
• Operate all laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Report any laundry equipment issues to the Administrator.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of experience in a similar role preferred.

Language Skills:

• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions related to laundry and housekeeping procedures.

Mathematical Skills:

• Basic math skills required.

Reasoning Ability:

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to seek assistance when needed.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

• No certifications required.
