Press Operator (Manufacturing)

JOB DESCRIPTION: Press Operator
Starting Wage: $17.10/hr
Operate of wide variety of presses include brake and punch. Load and unload parts into presses as required. Review quality of parts produced and note deviation from approved part. Report deviation of parts or machine function problems to supervisor. Band loads to remove from work area.

QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY TO PERFOM THIS JOB:

Physically able to be on feet for an 8 hour period.Physically able to perform a job that requires frequent bending, twisting, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Require good handeye coordination to operate press hand trips or foot trips and moving materials into hazardous die areas. Knowledge of hazards associated with operating presses and willing to follow all safety rules associated with operating presses.Effective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to read blueprints and measurements devices
