The Northern Trust Company seeks a Lead, Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy software applications and solutions. Develop triggers, custom objects, workflows, Visualforce pages, Lightning Components, Dashboards, advanced reporting, and perform data manipulations. Perform unit and system testing of code, components, and integrations. Conduct advanced application performance tuning and stress testing. Develop macros for bulk data movement and data manipulation. Conduct feasibility studies, define and design system requirements for complex software development projects. #LI-DNI
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field, and 3 years of experience with financial industry front and back office trading platforms and applications. Experience must include a minimum of: 3 years of experience with data architecture and data migration; 3 years of experience with implementing advanced formulas and workflow rules to enforce business processes; 3 years of experience with integration for client reporting, internal reporting, and regulatory reporting systems; 3 years of experience with developing Salesforce Apex triggers and Apex classes, web services, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components; and 3 years of experience with integrating Salesforce for external applications using service-oriented architecture and enterprise service bus technologies. Salary Range:
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
