Data Integration Engineer II (Finance)
Location: 165 Court Street, Rochester, NY 14647 (Monroe County). **Position is 100% remote. Employee's primary residence must be in New York State.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study. Three (3) years' experience as a Software Engineer, Oracle Developer or related IT occupation. Experience is required and must include: Production-level data integration of application development; Mapping legacy system tables, columns to new data warehouse tables, columns and write new packages to populate the data in new data warehouse; Develop APEX based web applications to assist customer in daily processing; Utilizing job scheduling software to enable the process to integrate and synchronize data, applications, and processes that reside on-premises or in the cloud; Tools/Technologies: Oracle Apex, Oracle Cloud, Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX, Shell Scripting, Toad, SQL Loader, JIRA, Erwin, HTML, Apache, Javascript, CSS, DHTML, XML, AJAX.
Duties: Design, build, unit test, and deploy the project's data integration components that link various sources of data together. Work with other teams in the division to develop and maintain data integration standards and architecture, ensure implementation of data integration standards across projects and programs, and assist in project management activities, working closely with Solution/Data Architects, Testers, Platform Architects, Delivery Leads, Operations staff and more to ensure proper structure and migration of data for successful customer use. Write code and analyze data to create a new system or modification of a current system, complying with predefined specifications. Apply technical and business knowledge to assess scope, predict effort level and project cost, and manage risk to define project requirements effectively. Document system requirements, specifications, capabilities, limitations, design, operation, and maintenance comprehensively, including communications, computing, or information processing systems. Maintain processes that feed data from various systems across the enterprise, ensuring data quality and process efficiency, and ensure that technical metadata and documentation are well-maintained in appropriate repositories. Anticipate, identify, and analyze problems and information, applying critical thinking, logic, and judgment to determine the most appropriate software solution. Include and work together with cross-functional teams to devise strategies and gather insights on project constraints, capabilities, performance criteria, and interconnections. ***Position is 100% remote. Compensation Range(s):
Salary: $105,768
The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position. Actual salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, budget available, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position's minimum qualifications, in addition to internal equity. The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package.
