Software Engineering Sr. Advisor - Evernorth Health Services (Finance)
Responsibilities:
Responsible for task assignment to other software engineering advisors on the team and for guiding them to success.
Responsible for project milestone tracking and communicating project status to leadership.
Responsible for building and maintaining API integrations between industry standard governing body data sources and on-premises reference data management systems
Responsible for contributing to and helping maintain ETL infrastructure running a celery-based orchestration platform within OpenShift and using Helm for deployments
Responsible for Installing, configuring, and testing all in-scope software components within a predefined environment in support of the MA Divestiture to HCSC throughout 2024 and 2025.
Responsible for software development tasks across Oracle RDBMS stored procedures, Python ETL scripts and Groovy scripted Workflows.
Responsible for integrating with REST API Endpoints, Kafka Topics, and RDBMS sources with complex SQL queries.
Responsible for utilizing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and participating in a full software development lifecycle. Responsible for code reviews and defining automated test cases.
Responsible for participating in an Agile scrum team and expected to have experience with all Agile ceremonies.
Responsible for documenting development releases, communicating status, and providing demos to stakeholders.
Collibra Data Intelligence Platform, application functionality, configuration, API integration and custom workflow development
ETL scripts orchestration via flask applications
Oracle RDBMS - Data modeling and stored procedure development
Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) and Oracle Analytics (OAS) - Dashboards building report SQL development and delivery
Requirements:
10+ years' experience in software engineering or related industry
5+ years' experience in the healthcare insurance industry
5+ years' experience with healthcare related reference data, code sets and relationships
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
