Position Summary To provide supervision and training to associates/program participants in the performance of janitorial /housekeeping duties at designated work sites. Responsible for the planning and execution of all janitorial services required in the contract at the designated work sites. Essential Duties(Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.) Responsible for the supervision and training of a diverse group of associates, some or many may have a disability or a barrier to employment. Completes all required paperwork to include: quality control reports, task completion reports, supply inventory, equipment inventory and condition, etc. Maintains associate records and works with Employment Specialist to ensure proper training and ongoing success of associates. Participates in daily conferences with building manager to ascertain problems/ concerns, reach decisions regarding appropriate solutions and maintain a high level of satisfaction. Responsible for profitable operation of assigned contract. Supervisory Responsibilities The associate in this position has supervisory responsibility for designated associates in their department. Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance High School Diploma or GED required. 3 Years' experience in a related field required. No professional certifications are required for this position. The associate is not required to drive as part of their job duties. Associates in this position will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check and sex offender check. No computer skills are required. Information Privacy and Security This associate may have access to Confidential Information (CI) and is required to be familiar with the Goodwill Privacy policy 10.23 related to the handling of CI, and follow all related procedures required to protect the privacy and security of CI. Physical Demands/Work Environment/Work Conditions The associate is required to lift 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Job requires walking or standing to a significant degree, with a degree of pushing and pulling. The associate works in a moderate work environment with occasional exposure to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.). The associate is required to be available at all times by phone and provide for a backup in their absence. The associate may be required to provide assistance with snow removal.
