About the Role
This position provides the strategic leadership needed to achieve the goals of MEI - St. Louis by providing the direction and business judgment to our Field Operations within our St. Louis Branch.
Responsibilities
Responsible for establishing, measuring, and enforcing goals for Service, Repair, Modernization, and New Construction, with assistance from VP of Field Operations
Work with and lead field employees, sales representatives, and office personnel in meeting and exceeding established goals in Service, Repair, Modernization & New Construction.
Establish financial and operating targets with assistance from VP Field Operations.
Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and evaluate the department operating performance.
Participate as a Manager in the development of the corporation's plans and programs.
Collaborate with Account Managers to develop new accounts, positive relationships with customers, and MEI influence in the geographic region.
Review and make decisions on proposals/contracts outside of normal scope and margin requirements
Conduct regularly scheduled team meetings complete with agenda topics and employee interaction
Develop credibility for the finance team by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends to assist the Leadership Team in performing their responsibilities
Execute additional tasks as needed
Experience
A bachelor's degree
5-10 years related experience
Leadership experience with appropriate industry experience
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Physical Demands
Position requires approximately 70% sitting, 15% walking and 15%
standing. The ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel and to reach with hands and arms on a frequent basis is required. Position requires the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl on an occasional basis. Also, the position requires the ability to express or exchange ideas by means of spoken words. The position requires close visual acuity at 20 inches or less. The ability to lift the equivalent of 50 pounds on an occasional basis is required. The job holder is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions and is exposed to moderate noise (e.g., business office machines such as computers and printers, light traffic).
