Terminal Operator (Finance)
Responsible for the safe, efficient and quality-conscious unloading and loading of liquid products to or from vessels, tanks, railcars, and trucks. Assure the work being performed consistently meets or exceeds the expectations of the supervisor, as well as published policies and procedures.
Position Requirements
1. A position assigned specific duties under periodic supervision by the supervisor. May be assigned to general duties in all areas of operations of the terminals. Extensive training in railcar, truck, warehousing, vessel operations, safety and environmental training as required.
2. The safe and efficient transfer of liquid products to or from vessels, tanks, railcars and trucks.
3. Gauging, recording, and calculating of tank/vessel inventories.
4. Sampling of both incoming and outgoing products.
5. General inspection and monitoring of tank, pump, and related equipment operation. Reporting to supervisor of equipment abnormalities of failures.
6. Housekeeping and general maintenance as required.
7. Upkeep of assigned equipment or tools. 8. Perform any other type of terminal function as trained and as instructed by the supervisor.
8. Must be able to secure and maintain Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
