JOB SUMMARY
Nabors is seeking a motivated and analytical intern to join our Procurement & Supply Chain team within the Center of Excellence. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with data-driven decision-making in a high-performance environment. The successful candidate will work closely with our analyst team to support strategic procurement initiatives, develop insights, and drive process improvements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Collect, organize, and analyze procurement and supply chain data to generate insights that inform business decisions.
- Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and visualizations to track key performance metrics.
- Market Research:
- Support conduct research on industry trends, suppliers, and cost drivers to support strategic sourcing and procurement projects.
- Process Improvement:
- Assist in identifying process bottlenecks and inefficiencies, recommending potential improvements to optimize supply chain operations.
- Ad-hoc Support:
- Assist the analysis team in additional tasks as needed, providing data and insights for project-based initiatives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required.
- Excellent written communication skills to prepare convincing presentations.
- Detail oriented and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a foundational understanding of data, analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI.
- Flexible, proactive, a learner and be able to work within a team.
- Basic knowledge of procurement and supply chain principles and practices.
- Strong learning ability and desire for personal development.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Interest in Supply Chain trends:
- Awareness of current trends in global supply chain management, sustainability, and procurement practices.
