Assistant Director of Banquets - Conrad Washington DC (Finance)
This stylish and sophisticated Forbes 4-Star property has brought a new standard of luxury to DC with 360 rooms, 32,000 square feet of banquet space, and 5 food and beverage outlets. This includes a restaurant, rooftop bar, lobby lounge, club lounge, and in-room dining.
In this role, you will assist the Director of Banquets in overseeing the banquet department managing a team of 40+ ( including an Assistant Manager ).
The banquet space consists of two pillar-free ballrooms with 17-foot ceilings, three conference rooms, a hospitality suite, a wraparound pre-function area, and the rooftop boasting city and Capitol views. The Grand Ballroom sits at 7,626 square feet and the Conservatory Ballroom at 3,300 square feet.
The ideal candidate will be a driven leader with a passion for creating memorable experiences and has excellent knowledge of the Forbes standards. This individual must thrive in a luxury environment upholding high standards, foster a positive culture, and be a team player. At least two (2) years of banquet management experience in a luxury environment is required. Prior experience managing union staff is a plus.

As an Assistant Director of Banquets, you would be responsible for assisting the Director in the direction and administration of the Banquet and Catering operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
