Position Summary
This position will be responsible for performing certain tasks within the calculation process of the overall Allowable Credit Losses (ACL) reserves for each entity within Wintrust. This includes assisting with ensuring the completeness and accuracy of data utilized in the calculation process, as well as ensuring the proper utilization of calculation tools. The position will also assist in the documentation of quantitative and qualitative factors, variance analysis, production of internal management reports, and preparing SEC reporting disclosures.
What You'll Do
Learn to effectively and efficiently utilize software solutions for the ACL process. Will be responsible for assisting with data movement, reconciliations, data assumption inputs, variance analysis, waterfall configuration and review, ad-hoc analysis & report building, etc.
Assist in providing variance analysis on various credit related metrics on a monthly basis. Requires collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand the key inputs into models and their impact on results.
Assist in creation and distribution of data and reports provided to internal management as well as required reports for external auditors and regulators. Prepare SEC Reporting disclosures for external filings.
Ensure proper documentation of all processes and procedures.
Ad-hoc projects as requested.
Qualifications
0-3+ years of experience in a business setting, financial services preferred.
Bachelor's Degree or work background that can be utilized in key accountabilities: Accounting, Statistics, Math, Finance, Programming and Systems, Economics, Data Analytics, and Modeling are relevant fields.
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously to meet strict deadlines.
Competent written and oral communication skills with the ability to prepare documentation, reports, and give presentations.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Intermediate to Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Knowledge of PowerBI desired, but not required.

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $50,000-$65,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
