Dump Truck Driver (EQOC, Temp) (Transportation)
Who you are: You enjoy working outdoors, value communicating, and being part of a team. You have a Class B Commercial Driver's License and at least one year of experience driving a dump truck. Perhaps you also have some off-road driving experience. You are dependable, work hard, and aren't afraid to ask questions when needed.
What the job is: This dump truck driver role (also known as an Equipment Operator C) is a seasonal job, lasting up to six months. Dump truck drivers work as part of our larger road construction crew. This crew builds and maintains Green Diamond's off-highway logging road system on our property located in Washington. This role will also help with activities like bridge re-decking, shovel work associated with culvert installation, posting signs on t-posts, and spreading grass seed and straw.
Work schedule: An example schedule could look like Monday - Friday, 5:30 AM - 3:30 PM. The usual days off are Saturday and Sunday. During the height of the season, there will be overtime available.
Where you'll work: Your mustering point will be at our Camp 1 facility located about 9 miles from Shelton, WA.
Compensation Details: The hourly rate is $29.64 with a potential per-hour shift differential of $.75 for swing, $.85 for graveyard, and $.50 if assigned a lead role. Other rewards include the eligibility to receive a candidate referral bonus and spot bonuses.
