Pricing Analyst (Marketing)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand to develop optimal pricing strategiesMonitor and assess the effectiveness of current pricing structures, identifying opportunities for improvementCollaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and purchasing teams to align pricing strategies with business objectivesDevelop and maintain pricing models, forecasts, and dashboards to support decision-makingDeveloping pricing tiers, discounts, and promotional strategies aligned with brand image and customer value perceptionConduct margin analysis and recommend price adjustments based on cost fluctuations and market conditionsProvide data-driven insights to improve revenue and profitability while maintaining customer satisfactionAssist in pricing negotiations and contract evaluations for new channels or new customersAbility to work across departments to design, develop, and maintain an effective and efficient product pricing system Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and economic factors that may impact pricingStrives to reduce waste, recycle products whenever possible, and re-use resources when practicalWorks safely at all times, follows safety rules and policies and participates in scheduled training Reports injuries and near misses promptly and in required detailed format; proposes corrective actionOther duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, or a related field and 2+ years of experience in pricing analysis, financial modeling, or data analysis; or equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)Excellent data analytics, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasetsEffective communication and presentation skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret such items as highly detailed professional, scientific, and technical journals, and legal documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints from both inside and outside the company. Ability to write speeches, articles, or memo using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on controversial or complex topics to such groups as top management.
