Industrial HVAC Technician (Finance)

Compensation for this role: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
Shift: 1st, Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
Summary:
The Industrial HVAC Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and service repairs on heating, ventilation, air condition, and refrigeration systems ensuring proper and efficient operations. This role requires the individual to be a licensed HVAC Journeyman with an EPA certification to handle refrigerants.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Inspects, tests, and maintains existing equipment, components, and wiring as a part of general maintenance.
- Ability to operate advanced hand tools common to HVAC testing and repair.
- Ability to read and understand diagrams, schematics, blueprints and service manuals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and company specific safety regulations
- Assist other multi-craft maintenance personnel to resolve technical issues
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by comply with all company procedures and policy
- Contribute to troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment.
- Works in a safe manner following all departmental and plant safety rules. Reports any unsafe work conditions to Safety Manager, supervisor, or management.

Qualifications
Qualifications and Education Required
- Journeyman HVAC license required.
- Minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience in an industrial environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have strong working knowledge of computerized maintenance management programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to work the shift specified by the position, to include mandatory overtime as deemed necessary to support business operations.
- Must have English reading, writing and verbal communication skills sufficient to read, write, and understand and communicate the company operating procedures and policies.
Physical Demands
- While performing the essential duties and responsibilities of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
- The employee is frequently required to walk.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Must have the ability to operate lift machinery/equipment and be able to work at heights above 15 feet.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision , peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
