Under new administration and leadership, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated full-time Activities Assistant to join our team. What You'll Do:
- Keep public and common areas (lobby, restrooms, floors, etc.) clean throughout the day
- Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and bathrooms
- Sanitize handrails and high-touch surfaces regularly
- Dust and wipe down walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, dispensers, and more
- Empty trash cans and replace liners
- Sweep and mop floors as needed
- Use cleaning supplies and equipment safely and correctly (signage, proper storage, etc.)
- Maintain and organize housekeeping carts and storage areas
- Report safety concerns or resident issues immediately to leadership
- Keep your supervisor updated when cleaning supplies are low

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1 year of laundry or housekeeping experience preferred
- Basic reading, math, and communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and ask for help when needed
- Must be dependable, organized, and able to work independently
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear
- Frequent use of industrial laundry machines and related equipment
Work Environment:
- Low to moderate noise level
- Safe, team-focused environment
- Reasonable accommodation available for qualified individuals
