Scheduler - Aurora, IL (Administrative)
Position Summary
Perform functions to schedule Field Service Technicians to install, repair, and calibrate coordinate measuring machines and other precision measuring equipment at customer locations.

What You'll Do:
1. Enter purchase order data into computer system to initiate field service scheduling.
2. Use scheduling software to schedule Field Service Technicians for daily work assignments under direction of Field Service Manager.
3. Schedule and track machine installations and service calls from start to completion.
4. Notify customers of scheduled service dates and resolve scheduling problems via email and phone.
5. Use Scheduling software to create quotations to be sent to Customers via email.
6. Provide Field Service Technicians with customer tracking numbers, purchase order numbers, and billing information necessary to complete scheduled service calls.
7. Forward parts requests and technical questions to technical support group.
8. Use PC's in a Windows environment.
9. Transfer assigned or scheduled service calls among Field Service Technicians using established procedures.
10. Prepare installation surveys and follow-up on returned customer comments.
11. Update all purchase orders as necessary for completeness and accuracy, contact customers as needed, enter into PC scheduling software.
12. Must maintain good customer relationship. Must be a team player by working with technicians, Administrative staff, and internal staff.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment: Office Environment.
Physical Demands: The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position.
Monday – Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM
Travel: There is no travel associated with this position.
Required Education and Experience: High School Education or equivalent. One year experience.
