Warehouse Supervisor - 2nd Shift (Finance)
Work Schedule: Mon - Thurs 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM with occasional OT
What do you get to do in this position
• Enforce Safety, Health & 5S throughout Warehouse secto
• Supervise, coordinate and participate in receiving, storage, packing, and/or order fulfillment operations requiring knowledge of material logistics processes, internal inventory systems, and production/order requirements.
• Organize and assign work on a particular shift to utilize available skills, knowledge and
experience, labor hours, machines and tools to the best advantages to obtain the most favorable costs, order accuracy, and completeness.
• Provide regular training, instruction and guidance. Maintain close surveillance over larger, more critical transfers, orders or receipts. Train new hires and temporary employees on pick and pack procedures as well as quality and safety.
• Ensure all orders are shipped in a timely fashion.
• Ensure proper processing of returns including check in, put away and credit insurance.
• Staffing - Interview, Hire & Performance Management
• Monitor & Analyze Logistics performance, Cost, Quality to evaluate efficiency. Adapt & Continuously improve.
• Supervision exercised on Staffing, Performance Management, Task Delegation, Project Delegation, Work Planning. May include Salary reviews.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
• Bachelor's Degree preferred, not required. Equivalent experience and skills can be substituted for education
• 2+ years of relevant experience in Warehouse/Distribution/Logistics
• Possess knowledge of material logistics processes, internal inventory systems, and
production/order requirements.
• Strong leadership and/or supervisory skills.
• Strong people skills and team building, including fostering career growth
