Verify product quantity and quality, including finished products and raw materials, and resolve any discrepancies.
Identify , monitor and report on slow moving, obsolete, customer stock and over- ran inventory and/or raw materials.
Work with supervisors, shipping and warehouse personnel to develop methods to improve the ability to locate , identify and track inventory.
Participate in all physical inventories.
Perform inventory cycle counts for raw materials and finished goods.
Monitor assigned reporting and relay information as necessary.
Maintain resin silos to support production - tap railcars physically and SAP transactions.
Maintain railcars, including contacting rail customer service for resin car delivery
Use SAP to investigate inventory discrepancies.
Transport materials to work areas and work in trailers for loading and unloading.
Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required , in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).
Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.
