Manager for Community Partnerships (Project Management)
The OU College of Medicine seeks a Manager for Community Partnerships to join the team implementing a newly funded medical student education project to expand outreach and recruitment of community preceptors and assist with creating a pipeline program to increase primary care physicians serving tribal, rural, and medically underserved communities in Oklahoma.
The Manager for Community Partnerships provides overall coordination of the components of the Community Partnerships. Project components could include outreach, recruitment, network building, relationship management, and onboarding of preceptors. This is a high visibility position as the Administrative Manager will work with both external community partners as well as internal stakeholders including executive leadership, teaching faculty, clinical faculty, staff and students. Some calendar and travel coordination will be required. Travel may also be required.
This is a grant funded position; funding is through a multiyear grant with funding each year conditional upon availability of funds and progress. OU employees appointed to positions funded in part or in whole by a grant are expected to use all earned paid leave during the specified period of their appointment.
