Job Overview: Linde Gases US (LGUS) is seeking qualified applicants for our Maintenance Technician role. The technician must demonstrate initiative in handling issues, be self-motivated, dependable, and work within a team environment. Primary Responsibilities: - You will use a wide variety of hand, power, and machine tools to troubleshoot and repair various mechanical equipment and systems. - You will follow SMP/SOPs within an ISO/QA/PSM/RMP site. - You will disassemble/assemble rotating equipment, pumps, gearboxes, compressors, etc. to repair/replace bearings, gears, seals, structural components, and the like. - You can read and understand blueprints. - You will perform preventive maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems. - You will safely troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all rotating equipment and associated mechanical systems including compressors, pumps, fans, blowers, boiler systems, valves, and ability to perform equipment alignments. - You will use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), plan and execute maintenance activities including procurement of parts, supervision of maintenance tasks, and completion of all follow-ups required documentation. - You will complete some repairs of mechanical piping systems including threaded and welded pipe systems. - You will complete and document maintenance activities associated with predictive and corrective maintenance activities. Required Qualifications: - You possess a High School education, associate degree a plus. - Journeyman millwright/machinist experience preferred. - You have 5+ years' experience in an industrial production environment. - You have Excellent computer skills required. - Welding and HVAC experience a plus. - On-Call ability required within 24/7 operation environment.
