Specialty Courts Treatment Coordinator (Manufacturing)

Duties and Responsibilities
Main duties and responsibilities include the following: (other duties may be assigned)
Provide advisement and consultation to all juvenile services staff regarding mental health, substance abuse and trauma servicesOversee and supervise all contract counselors and interns with Mental Health Court, Juvenile Drug Court and Family Preservation CourtConduct mental health assessments, substance abuse assessments and trauma assessments forjuvenile and adult clients involved in the Juvenile Court system and determine if the client is appropriate for one of the Specialty Courts.Maintain the Department of Health and Hospitals licensure for the Substance Abuse Clinic annually.Develop and maintain working relationships with community mental health, substance abuse and trauma services providers, including but not limited to Louisiana Office of Behavioral Health, Louisiana Office for Citizens with Developmental Disabilities,
Louisiana Office of Juvenile Justice, Caddo Parish School Board and any other community based mental health, substance abuse and counseling agencies.With the involvement of the Director of Juvenile Services and Probation Department Manager, seek local, state and federal grant funding opportunities and maintain data and reporting requirements for existing grants for Juvenile Drug Court and Family
Preservation Court.
