Hybrid Sr. Mechanical Engineer in San Diego, CA (Finance)
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will lead a portfolio of innovative S&T projects, as well as projects in the Commercial, Education, Government, and Hospitality sectors. In this role, you will be responsible for designing sustainable mechanical systems for buildings and facilities, providing technical expertise, and acting as the Engineer of Record. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of engineering design, adhering to Code and client expectations, and facilitating technical communication with clients on MEP topics.
Key responsibilities include leading assigned project teams, participating in budgeting and scheduling, and managing staff. Candidates should have a strong background in the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, and significant experience in lab design, with at least 15 years of overall experience. A current PE license is required, and the role demands high levels of leadership, mentorship, and the ability to guide and develop younger staff members.
This position offers a hybrid-remote work environment. Candidates must be based in San Diego or surrounding areas and be eligible to work in the U.S. to attend on-site project meetings as needed to facilitate collaboration. Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the proposed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Glumac's total compensation package for employees.
