HR Clerk (Administrative)
Support HR functions such as employee onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and maintaining accurate employee records in the HRIS.
Administer employee benefits, including health insurance enrollment and leave management.
Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR and payroll matters.
Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring correct payment for regular hours, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
Assist with recruitment tasks, such as posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and processing new hire paperwork.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, EEOC, and payroll tax regulations.
Manage payroll records, handle adjustments, and provide payroll reports for management.
Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and supporting overall HR initiatives.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in HR administration or a similar role and payroll processing.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially.
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
