We are now hiring for a Warehouse Associate! A Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving and recording all incoming parcels as well as sending reprocessed devices to customers based on orders received. Warehouse Associates will track and compare incoming orders scheduled for arrival, receive them as they arrive, and push work to the various departments based on product received while ensuring that all departments are both kept busy and informed about work coming to them. For outgoing orders, they will ensure that clients receive the items as requested and store all other devices until requested to be shipped.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Use company electronic systems to; record and track incoming orders in company work order tracking system, take inventory of product and supplies, review work orders to verify any special instructions made by customer regarding shipping of devices and perform special instructions as stated
Physically organize incoming and outgoing batches of devices according to customer account numbers, ensuring all is accurate and accounted for whether incoming our being sent to a customer
Review and record batches (lots) to inform the Production teams as to what has been received to best estimate the workflow/workload down the line in each processing area and monitor work in 3 areas of Production that receive items from Receiving area to ensure work is flowing timely and devices are being delivered to each area when that area has space to receive them
Record and sign off on order control records (PCR's) as they are completed for each batch of devices for each customer
Partner with customer service representatives to track issues in shipments as well as prepare for any unusual or irregular batches of devices as well as log customer complaints that are forwarded from customer service, receive the returned items that may be defective or otherwise unsatisfactory, forward to Manager that is responsible for processing and responding to customer
Receive batches of devices from Sterilization or DVT boxing teams and compare to work order tracking system, verify if devices have been ordered by customer, or to be shelved pending a purchase order, or added to general inventory
Separate and store devices accordingly while updating computer tracking system, fulfilling orders (count devices, select appropriate boxes and package them) based on customer request and ship them using FedEx shipping software
Review work orders to verify any special instructions made by customer regarding shipping of devices and preform special instructions as stated, contacting customer service for any questions or discrepancies between customer orders, devices available, or unusual customer requests
Assist other departments as needed to ensure production output meets or exceeds goals

Required Qualifications:
Must be able to communicate in basic English with management and co-workers (Speak and basic reading ability required)
Sit or stand for 10 hour shifts with appropriate meal and rest breaks
Work in a room with washing machines, dryers, racks, tables, and limited room for movement
Work in a room with continuous moderate to high level of noise
Lift, push, or pull batches of devices averaging 50 lbs up to 50 times per day
Perform repetitive tasks, some of which are small motion tasks through the entire shift
Focused and detail oriented to be able to identify product discrepancies or flaws and take appropriate action
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Any prior work experience in a manufacturing role is preferred

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$16.25 - $22.00 HourlyThe actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
