Manager Auction (Finance)
Successfully lead the general merchandise Auctions and related personnel providing excellent customer service. Maximize sales revenue and net gain while minimizing Donated Goods waste.
Essential Duties(Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.)
1. Adheres to all Auction schedules.
2. Controls the quantity and quality of merchandise selected for the auctions.
3. Ensures that merchandise is current and the Auction is safe for customers and associates.
4. Trains and supervises all departmental associates.
5. Orders department supplies in a timely and cost-effective manner.
6. Ensures that all receipts are correct and deposited in a timely manner.
7. Provides regular communication to the Auctioneer and the Director of Logistics, including concerns and expectations related to the department.
8. Travels between Central and Coastal auctions as needed to provide support and direction.
9. Sucessfully execute Central and Coastal Auction growth strategies. Analyze sales reports, customer feedback and finance reporting to determine best business strategies.
Supervisory Responsibilities
The associate in this position has supervisory responsibility for designated associates in their department.
Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in a related field required.
• No professional certifications are required for this position.
• Valid state driver's license, insurance and satisfactory driving record are required.
• Associates in this position will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check and sex offender check.
• Basic ability to operate a computer using Microsoft Office software and basic typing skills, required.
• Experience with collectable auction items preferred.
