Research & Development Intern (Finance)
Some key duties in this role include:
Observe work completed in the R&D department. Perform basic microbiology work to include by not limited to culture work and flow cytometry independently or supervised by R&D team member. Perform basic molecular techniques to include by not limited to genomic DNA/RNA extraction or PCR independently or supervised by R&D team member. Aid in R&D projects as directed by Custom Product Development Manager or R&D Scientist or Associate. Maintain a log of the work observed and completed in the R&D laboratory. Complete all necessary training required by the Quality Assurance department. Attend Granite Partners Internship Bridge meetings. Create and present capstone project. Attend internal Internship program meetings. Perform other duties within the R&D department or other areas as assigned. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Observe all company policies, rules, and safety practices.

Must be a student at an accredited College or University Majoring in Biology, Microbiology or related fields preferred Practical laboratory experience preferred Familiarity with Molecular Biology and PCR preferred Ability to use Microsoft Office Experience in research and knowledge of statistics preferred In good academic standing (2.50+ GPA)
