RFI Coordinator (Engineering)
The purpose of the RFI Coordinator role is to ensure efficient management, coordination, and tracking of customer inquiries across various departments within the enterprise.
This position will work remotely, but must be willing to travel as needed to any of our facilities, customers or trade shows.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Centralized Management:
Maintain a structured approach to handling RFIs via a dedicated mailbox and process.
Internal Coordination:
Work closely with internal teams (Contracts, Quality, Regulatory, Sales, etc.) to gather accurate and timely responses.
Verification of Agreements:
Ensure customers have appropriate distribution agreements in place before providing requested information.
Customer Communication:
Deliver final responses or documents to both internal and external customers.
Tracking & Reporting:
Monitor the status and outcomes of all RFIs using SmartSheet or another tracking tool.
Process Improvement:
Provide insights to leadership to enhance efficiency and eliminate waste.
This process ensures consistency, compliance, and responsiveness in handling RFIs while improving internal workflow and customer satisfaction.
Domestic RFIs:
Manage the Request for Information (RFI) mailbox and use the process created for the Enterprise Coordinate with contracts team to verify customer has a distribution agreement in place if needed to provide answers to customer request. Coordinate with internal TIDI Products associates: Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, Logistics, Purchasing, Production, Manufacturing, Distribution Team, Engineering, Contracts, Intl Sales, OEM Sales, Coordinate final answers or documents and send back to customers both internal and external Track status and outcome of each RFI on SmartSheet tracker Provide insights to Domestic Sales Leader on improvements to process to eliminate waste
International RFIs:
Manage the International Request for Information (RFI) process for the Enterprise. Coordinate with contracts team to verify customer has a distribution agreement in place to provide answers to customer request. Coordinate with internal TIDI Products associates: quality; regulatory; product managers; engineering; buyers; legal; international sales; OEM Sales; manufacturing; etc. to gain needed answers to customers RFI request Track status and outcome of each RFI on tracker Provide insights to International Sales Leader on improvements to process to eliminate waste

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field 1-3 years of experience in customer service, sales support, regulatory affairs, or supply chain. Strong communication & coordination skills. Proficiency in Excel is highly preferred. Experience with SmartSheet, Salesforce, ERP systems, or similar tracking tools. Knowledge of contract management, logistics, regulatory processes, and compliance preferred. Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, quality, and legal teams.

Estimated starting annual base salary pay ranges is $60,000.00 - $70,000.00, less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. Please note that the actual compensation offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined by the Company, which may include, but is not limited to, location, experience, qualifications, education, skillset, and market conditions. The target base compensation for this role is in the low to middle of the range, with the top of the range reserved for only exceptional circumstances.
