Senior Manager, Core Network (Finance)
Schneider Electric is undergoing a global infrastructure transformation programme, led by the Global Technology Services team (GTS). Working within GTS, the Senior Manager-Core Network will be leading the GTS Infrastructure Architects, Solution Delivery and Operation teams.
Schneider Electric's global transformation program focuses on enhancing business and IT capabilities through data center optimization, cloud migrations, network optimizations, and application modernization. This initiative leverages digital technologies such as Cloud, Microservices, Core Network, and DevOps to drive significant improvements and efficiencies.
The Core Network Senior Manager will analyze market network solutions and envision future services and their benefits. They will collaborate with solution architects to define E2E services, including service catalogues, contracts, and costs. Additionally, they will promote infrastructure standards, rules, and technologies across the Schneider ecosystem.
The Core Network Senior Manager will collaborate with local business representatives, suppliers, and various GTS product domains (Infrastructure, Governance, Cloud, Microservices, DevOps, Cybersecurity), as well as Service Delivery, Operations, and the PMO. They will ensure adherence to network standards and governance, guaranteeing uninterrupted service availability to the business.
This is a role with technical know-how, strong leadership qualities to eager drive core network initiatives, transformations from start to finish and lead on the global core network strategy in IT strategies and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze the market for network related solution, be up to date with innovation topics.
• Create a vision for the core network for the part 3 to 5 years - align with other teams and publish a finalized strategy.
• Define/ Maintain E2E services for the core network with clear inventory, processes, ownership and KPIs in place.
• Work closely with the business representatives to ensure/ improve the
availability of services.
• Work closely with other GTS product ownership to align on the strategies and
support each other on live services.
• Responsible to build and maintain relationship with all suppliers, improve on the
efficiency and costs.
• Provides support as required during critical (high) incidents related to core
network capabilities under ownership.
• Track the KPIs of its services on regular basis and provide improvement plans.
• There will be a need for the Senior Manager to travel domestic and/ or internationally(25%) •Build an efficient and performant team: solution architects, SREs, governance to
provide the services to the business.
• Develop a best-in class monitoring to support SLA's determined on the platform side.
• Liaise with Core network suppliers support to get incidents resolved as soon as possible.
