Position Summary
The BSA Specialist I is responsible for assisting BSA Management with various aspects related to the Bank Secrecy Act Program. This position is primarily responsible for analysis and preparation of reports and material for various meetings and committees such as Board of Directors, Audit Committee, BSA Committee, exams, etc. The position assists with coordination of BSA Oversight meetings with various Wintrust Lines of Businesses and is cross-trained in Alerts and/or EDD.
What You'll Do
Analysis and preparation of reports and material for various oversight meetings and committees such as Board of Directors, Audit Committee, BSA Committee, exams, audits, etc.
Perform BSA Program daily and periodic duties primarily handled by the analysts, investigators and EDD Specialists.
Assist with coordination of BSA Oversight meeting with various Wintrust Lines of Businesses such as the Wintrust Funds Group, International Services Group, Mortgage, etc. Provides guidance and support to business lines, corporate units and compliance officers.
Coordinate and respond to outside correspondent banks and bank rating agencies for BSA due diligence questionnaires.
Assists BSA Management, including non-bank BSA Management, with initiatives and ongoing projects to ensure timely completeness with objectives. Follows up to ensure issues are addressed and resolved.
Oversee completion and analysis of key BSA reports, stats, KRIs, etc.
Qualifications
2 - 3 years banking experience.
1-2 years of BSA experience.
Working knowledge of various laws, regulations and guidance as it relates to BSA, AML and OFAC.
Strong research, investigative, analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
Bachelor's degree preferred

Compensation
The estimated hourly rate for this role is $24.04-$31.25, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual pay rate may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
