Your Role:
The Document Quality Coordinator is responsible for reviewing, verifying, and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of critical field operations documentation. This role involves conducting quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) checks on reports, logs, and other operational documents to maintain high standards of accuracy and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with field teams and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and improve documentation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• QA/QC Review: Conduct thorough quality assurance and quality control checks on field operations documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Compliance Monitoring: Verify that all documentation aligns with relevant industry standards, company guidelines, and legal regulations.
• Error Identification & Resolution: Identify inconsistencies, missing information, or errors in reports and work with field teams or document owners to correct them.
• Process Improvement: Provide feedback and recommendations to improve documentation processes, templates, and training materials.
• Document Management: Maintain organized records of reviewed documents and ensure proper version control, archiving, and retrieval.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with field personnel, project managers, and compliance teams to ensure documentation is submitted accurately and on time.
• Training & Support: Assist in training field teams on proper documentation procedures, standards, and best practices.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in document control, quality assurance, or compliance-related roles, preferably in a field operations or industrial setting. In addition, you will have / be:
• Experience in disaster relief, construction, energy, or other fast-paced operational environments is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors or inconsistencies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and document management systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-paced environment.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements related to field operations, safety, and regulatory documentation is a plus.
Degree / Certifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, quality management, project management, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
Work Environment
This position requires 100% of your time in our on-site field office. Work will be completed in California. Opportunities may exist to work remote on a very limited basis.
Work will consist of working 6-7 days a week, including weekends, 10 - 12-hour days and will average 50 - 60 hours per week. You must be able to work long hours, evenings, and weekends.
This position requires you to drive on a regular basis. Passing a motor vehicle record background check and maintaining a valid driver's license and good driving record is required.

Tetra Tech offers a basic core medical plan and our 401k retirement plan for this position.
The Salary Range for this position is $28.00/hour to $40.00/hour, depending on education, experience, skills, and location. Overtime will be paid according to state law.
