Heritage Hall is currently recruiting for a Medical Records Clerk. This individual will be responsible for compiling, processing, and verifying each resident's file for the facility. They are responsible for sending medical records to the appropriate offices and obtaining any necessary information for the files. The Medical Records Clerk will also file any loose reports and papers in the appropriate place. They will also ensure medical records are maintained in a manner compliant with ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements of the medical services system.
Medical Records Clerk Qualifications
Prior medical records experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Necessary
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form
Knowledge of state and federal legal requirements relating to documentation, confidentiality, and legal issues pertaining to health information
Ability to work independently
Ability to organize and prioritize workload
Ability to read and understand oral and/or written instructions
