Warehouse Driver (Transportation)
SUMMARY: Baker Home Energy is looking for a skilled delivery driver who will be responsible for the delivery of trailers and material to job sites throughout the San Diego and Riverside County areas. As a delivery driver you will also have the opportunity to work within a warehouse environment, providing additional support for our team of warehouse specialists.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for towing trailers to and from job sites.
- Follow pre-assigned driving routes to ensure timely delivery of trailers and material.
- Pick up will-call material from a variety of suppliers.
- Responsible for truck cleanliness and maintenance.
- Perform routine daily truck and trailer inspections.
- Safely operate company trucks and equipment.
- Coordinate job material pickup and drop off with driver dispatch Supervisor.
- Provide assistance to the field team while on job site as needed.
- Operate class C Ford F150 / F250 pickup trucks.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION:
- 2+ years of delivery driver experience a plus.
- 1+ year of warehouse experience.
- Valid California class C driver license required.
- Goal oriented and driven to succeed.
- Must be able to lift / push / pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to handle a variety of tasks with a warehouse environment.
- Willing to work a flexible schedule including extended hours when necessary.
- Forklift experience a plus.
- Trailer towing experience preferred.
