Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Emergency General Surgery (EGS) Provider (Finance)

Work Schedule :

Monday through Friday, 8 hour shifts between the core hours of 6 AM and 6 PM.

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:

• Provide comprehensive care to Emergency General Surgery (EGS) patients with varying acuity and diagnoses.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to provide consistent high-quality care to our patients.
• Participate in daily rounding and multi-disciplinary rounds on adult EGS patients.
• Assist with bedside procedures.
• Assist with patient admissions and discharges from the General Surgery teams.
• Communicate across multiple care teams for inpatient management and consulting teams.
• Manage postoperative EGS patients.

Education :

Minimum -

If Nurse Practitioner:

Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program.

If Physician Assistant:

Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program.

Licenses and Certifications :

Minimum -

If Nurse Practitioner: Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin ANDactive board certification as a NP in Family, Adult, Adult/Gero Primary Care, or Adult/Gero Acute Care.

If Physician Assistant: Active PA license in State of Wisconsin ANDactive PA board certification.

All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
