BSA Compliance Analyst (Finance)
Location: Sioux Falls, SD
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

About the Role
The BSA Analyst will assist in executing the BSA/AML Compliance program. They are responsible for ensuring required regulatory reporting is conducted in a timely, accurate and compliant manner. This could include filing of Currency Transaction Reports (CTR's) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR's) to FinCEN, as well as FinCEN 314a procedures and reporting. They will complete the timely review of transaction monitoring alerts and OFAC alerts as well as assisting with other BSA related regulatory matters and projects. They would help establish and maintain appropriate Suspicious Activity investigation, review and reporting processes that promote consistent decisions, adequate investigation and research, and complete detail documentation as well as Office of Foreign Affairs (OFAC) processes and procedures. Compliance is responsible for providing an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve First PREMIER Bank and PREMIER Bankcard LLC's operations. This position may be specific to First PREMIER Bank, PREMIER Bankcard, or a combination of Bank and Bankcard.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Becomes proficient in working OFAC and transaction monitoring alerts.
- Assist in Bank wide annual BSA training.
- Assist with preparation of materials for Senior Management and the Board(s).
- Collaborate and consult with peers, businesses partners, and managers to provide advice on risks and controls.
- Conduct independent interviews with the business to assess adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports and communicate with affected personnel and management.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, confidentiality, and independent work experience necessary.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient knowledge of the structure and content of the English language is required, including the meaning, rules of composition, and grammar.
- Strong organizational skills, able to multi-task, deliver under pressure and tight timelines.
- Self-motivated.
