Operations Coordinator - Robert Mondavi Winery (Manufacturing)
Job Description
Position Summary
The operations coordinator will be based on-site at Robert Mondavi Winery. This role will be responsible for providing planning and scheduling support to the team at Robert Mondavi Winery, which includes Winemaking, Cellar, Maintenance, Safety, Environmental, Quality, Human Resources and Hospitality, Vineyards and other corporate partners. Must contribute to positive team dynamics and efficiency.
General Administrative Functions
Support operations leaders with developing work schedules.
For the entire winery operations:
Assembles and analyzes information.
Works with department leaders to develop and execute production plans.
Schedules incoming and outgoing bulk wine shipments.
Works in conjunction with Operations Manager, Cellar Master and Cellar Supervisor with SOP creation, editing and coordinating trainings.
Coordinates, posts and creates operations communications as directed.
Maintains the capital tracking system including filing and data entry pertaining to CIM's, P.O. and spend tracking utilizing internal Capital Tracking Sheet.
Works with finance in monthly reconciliation of capital expenses.
Work with the facility maintenance team to develop an asset management system that includes critical assets at the site. Develop a spare parts inventory for all new and existing spare parts. Actively update and manage the spare parts inventory.
Creates and receives purchase orders in Ariba and S4/Hana for capital and indirect purchases.
Process invoices and ensure monthly and annual bills are paid on time and in full.
Vendor set-up in SAP.
Collates and enters KPI information into data tracking sheet for all utilities and solid waste for reporting to corporate.
Leads, supports and executes continuous improvement projects.
Special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
Oversight of pool vehicle use, including maintenance.
Support maintenance team with site key organization, planning and tracking.
Coordinate & execute annual records clean-up.
Communications
Work with site leadership to coordinate production and activities.
Assist site team, plan and act as a liaison with corporate partners to coordinate IT needs.
Supplies and Maintenance
As part of planning process, order production, maintenance & winemaking supplies.
Main point of contact for site vendors and contractors.
Ensure annual review of contracts and/or service agreements.
Safety & Environmental
Ensures safety and environmental factors are considered in the production & maintenance plans.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
Valid driver's license
Minimum two years of operations or planning experience
Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Must be able to work weekdays, weekends and overtime when needed.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
Have high sense of urgency for timeliness, accuracy and follow-through on tasks to successful completion.
Preferred Qualifications
Bi-lingual
Wine industry experience
CMMS (Upkeep) experience
SAP/ERP experience
Vintrace experience
Strong organizational and time management skills, due to having to work independently on projects, from conception to completion.
Work Environment:
Drive as necessary to pick up, deliver, or support winery needs
Primary office environment may be production setting
Wearing required PPE when in production environment.
Works outdoors/indoors
Works in warm/cold climates
Works in high places
Works on wet surfaces
Is exposed to loud noise, fumes and/or toxic chemicals
Works near moving, mechanical parts and lift truck traffic
Must be able to move up to 55 lbs.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and work on a computer for extended periods. Lifting may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Operations and ProductionThe salary range for this role is:
$28.19 - $40.56This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
