As the Foodservice Sr. Channel Marketing Manager, you will be the expert on the Traditional Foodservice Channels and own the development and execution of the strategic plan, new product development, promotional strategies across all business channels and customers for profitable growth. Responsibilities:
Own channel strategy, the P&L, pricing and promotion strategy, budget/plan, forecasting (IBP), capital recommendations, SKU rationalization, supply chain, marketing needs and competitive assessment
Ensure execution of trade communications and insights and research
Lead in the development of annual planning and long-term vision of existing core categories as well as innovation platforms within all Traditional Foodservice channels and segments to drive future growth
Own strategic planning, development and launch plan for all innovation platforms and programs, including development of long-term innovation pipelines and multi-year capital planning strategy
Develop strategic positioning for new product launches and development of presentations for the sales teams, including participating in key strategic customer presentations
Work collaboratively with various cross-functional team members including R&D, project managers, culinary, sales, finance and demand planning
Act as a leader within the company
Education:
BS/BA Degree in Marketing or Business required; MBA preferred
Experience:
8-10 years of marketing experience required; foodservice experience preferred (channel, customer, product development, strategy)
Strong strategic thinking, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills along with the proven ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Self-starter who takes ownership of all projects and delivers on commitments
