Team Lead, Fund Accounting (Finance)

The Northern Trust Company seeks a Team Lead, Fund Accounting to design workflow distribution and effective use of resources within the team. Ensure the accurate completion of NAVs for multiple Unit Trusts and common Investment Funds. Prepare financial statements and reports for a designated group of funds. Monitor monthly reporting and ensure accuracy of reports prepared for regulatory agencies. Provide technical training, organize the work of the team, assign tasks, set short-term priorities, and monitor activities. Ensure that all procedures are up-to-date and adhered to. #LI-DNI
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field and 3 years of experience with driving Net Asset Value (NAV) production and reviewing all components of the NAV valuation process to ensure accuracy. Experience must include a minimum of: 3 years of experience with monitoring funds hedging processes and multiple shared classes to manage validations; 3 years of experience investigating and resolving issues with NAV and monitoring project phases; 3 years of experience leading the review of fund accounts and ensuring compliance with business standards; 3 years of experience acting as a subject matter expert on money market fund accounts; 3 years of experience investigating yield impact movements including income earned on securities, expenses, and dealings; and 3 years of experience coordinating quality assurance reviews to meet project requirements. Salary Range:
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
