Whitney Oaks Care Center is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Activities Assistant to join our team! If you're passionate about enhancing the quality of life for our residents through engaging activities and events, we want to hear from you.

Position: Activities Assistant
Location: Whitney Oaks Care Center
Pay: $18 - $20 per hour, depending on experience
Full-time/Part-time: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and facilitating recreational and social activities for residents
• Create a fun, engaging, and enriching environment for residents with diverse needs and abilities
• Support residents in participating in activities and encourage socialization
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment during activities
• Work closely with the Activities Director to implement the monthly activity calendar
• Maintain accurate records of resident participation in activities

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in an activities or recreation role is a plus, but not required
