Main Purpose of the Role
The Financial Analyst intern will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of a medical device company while gaining hands-on work experience in a corporate setting during this paid internship. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide financial and analytical support across Bioventus through financial planning and analysis as well as general accounting. Ability and motivation to work both independently and as part of a team are also necessary for this position.Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Participate in the forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Perform quarterly audits to ensure adherence to our Travel and Purchasing Card Policies
• Improve our reporting through automation
• Respond to ad-hoc reporting requirements and special projects as they arise.
• Adhere to and ensure compliance with the Bioventus code of Ethics, all Company policies, rules and procedures.

Education and Experience (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

• Rising junior or senior enrolled in an accredited school pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Analytics/Business or related field. Must be in good academic standing.
• Analytical skills - intermediate use of MS Excel, MS Office, some SAP and Tableau may be required and can be taught
• Independent thinker that can take initiative to solve a problem without significant direction
• Big picture orientation with attention to detail will be critical for success in this role
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
