What You'll Do:• Provide Occupational Therapy Services• Work with children, teens, young adults, adults and family systems from diverse backgrounds• Complete thorough evaluation with standardized assessments as indicated, including but not limited to the areas of activities of daily living, fine and visual motor skills, self-regulation, social skills, sensory processing, and strength/range of motion• Develop individualized goals for each client (with input from family members) incorporating functional abilities with the objective to increase daily living skills• Conduct 1:1 treatment sessions with clients who have a variety of psychosocial, cognitive, and/or motor difficulties• Educate and demonstrate therapy techniques to caregivers that can be used in a home program• Maintain communication with referring physician through progress reports and other forms of communication as needed• Responsible for timely documentation of evaluation results, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and insurance authorizations and justifications as needed• Attend staff meetings, in-service trainings, and continuing education courses as appropriate or required What Your Qualifications Should Be:• Graduate degree from an accredited occupational therapy program (Master's or Doctorate)• Pediatric experience preferred (will consider new graduates with pediatric fieldwork experience)• NBCOT certification as an OTR• Current MN licensure (will consider a new graduate willing to apply for a temporary license)• Have a working knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy interventions and assessment tools• Strong time management skills• Possess basic computer skills including the ability to navigate multiple systems• Previous EHR experience preferred• Physically be able to participate in handling and floor activities with children• Able to lift 10-25# frequently; 25-50# occasionally; and over 50# rarely and with help What Your Benefits Look Like: • Multiple compensation models to meet your specific needs• Licensure fee reimbursement• Professional development opportunities, which include: 50+ Free clinical & board approved CEUs offered yearly; supervision; case and peer reviews• Flexible scheduling options available, FT or PT• Board-approved supervision for unlicensed clinicians• Marketing provided to help maintain a full caseload• PTO, Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, Health Savings, Flexible Spending Accounts, Free Term Life Insurance Policy, Employee Assistance Program, Long & Short Term Disability, 401(k) Retirement plan with matching contribution, and more• National Health Service Corp Student Loan Forgiveness Eligibility at select locations Ready to Make a Difference?This is a great opportunity for both mid-career therapists and new graduates to join a supportive practice and make a real impact.Nystrom & Associates is an equal-opportunity employer. https://www.nystromcounseling.com/therapy-careers/
