Immediate Opening: Intake Specialist
Job Summary:Office-based, Full-Time, & Hourly
Under the supervision of the Director of Skilled & Private Duty Home Care the Intake Specialist promptly receives, evaluates, responds, coordinates, communicates, and determines the appropriateness of departmental referrals and inquiries for both skilled and private duty services. Obtains and maintains accurate records for the start and resumption of care, including insurance coverage and initial authorizations. Follows up on pending referrals, and unresolved referrals and authorization issues. Assists with the planning and initiating schedules for clients receiving skilled home care.
