Mechanical Drafter (Engineering)
Work closely with local and global product engineering teams to determine suitable product configurations.
Liaise with sales and customer service to understand and identify customer needs.
Prepare product location and layout drawings, general arrangement drawings, product submittals and manufacturing drawings as needed.
Review change requests and product requirements with product design, sales and customer service as needed.
Maintain up-to-date component CAD libraries.
Work with manufacturing engineering as needed on the creation of CAD drawings for tooling, etc.
Assist in the maintenance and/or creation of data in the ERP system.
Maintain and participate in general housekeeping activities as well as the implementation and maintenance of Lean Six Sigma.
Adhere to all company and regulatory safety policies.
Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years of AutoCAD and SolidWorks experience in a manufacturing environment.
AutoCAD and SolidWorks certification or graduate of a technical program
Experience in HVAC and ventilation duct layouts with incorporated components required for a system preferred but not required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Working knowledge of manufacturing documents such as drawings, specifications, and work orders.
Experience working with ERP systems.
Compliance with all personnel policies and practices.
